Brandelhow is a local name for the wood and park purchased in 1902/4 by the National Trust. As we refurbished the property we selected this theme to provide Cumbrian charm & character to our guest’s accommodation. Around the corner from Brandelhow Guest House the museum tells the story of our quaint market town. Nearby you will also find the ruins of the castle, or you could follow the millennium trail – a short walk around the town, showing the history of many interesting places as you go, at your own pace. Eating out in Penrith – you will find everything from good pub food to dishes from around the world – Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, Indian and of course traditional English Fare and Fine Dining. |
